Kathanir (Rogue)
Keceltes (Priest)
Sindral (Paladin)
Skarra (Mage)
Tanthion (Warlock) – Me

The first meeting of our static party, still unofficial. I logged on, found everyone online, and we were on our way. We didn’t do much besides run around killing things and of course being killed.

I was having trouble with my Ventrilo client. I think World of Warcraft (WoW) intercepts my mouse buttons even though I have unbound them in my key bindings. I have to use a stupid keyboard button in order to talk, but I think I have everything else working properly. Of course I’ve also had problems with vent before. Something about having two different mice kept messing around with the bindings. I have both a Logitech and a Radtech mouse installed on my computer which have their own mouse button mapping program. Perhaps that is causing the error.

For some reason, we were doing Quest: Wanted: Knucklerot and Luzran (Group). I looked it up and it’s a level 15-21 (Group) quest. Therefore, there was no surprise that it was a Red quest to me (level 12) and that we kept dying in it. During the first mob fight (Luzran), some of use survived because an 18 Paladin stepped in to save us. During the second mob fight (Knucklerot), we were not as fortunate. Well I guess we’ll do that quest at a later time.

I’m not sure why, but I do have a problem with Skarra being higher level (even if it is just 1-2 levels) that us. I mean he’s a mage, he shouldn’t lead the pack. If anything it should be our Paladin that sets the pace to what level we should be. It’s good that a caster should be at a high level to cut down on resistance, but the tank should be the highest to maintain hate. Oh well, I’m sure I’ll get over it later. It’s not that big of a deal, but I find myself feeling strongly about this issue.

Love this Mana Tap ability though. Hehe, now I can say, “Yes, I’ve tapped that.”

Current Elven Level: 14
Elven Deaths: 1-2
